1. (2) INDIA
There might be a feeling that they fell into top spot but having lost just one game all tournament they are more than deserving of the position.
LAST FIVE: AFG (W), WI (W), ENG (L), BANG (W), SL (W).
2. (2) AUSTRALIA
The first Aussies team to qualify for the semi finals, injuries and a late defeat are the only question marks on the champs defending their crown.
LAST FIVE: SL (W), BANG (W), ENG (W), NZ (W), SA (L).
3. (6) ENGLAND
Having looked shaky in the middle stages of the tournament the hosts have rediscovered some of their best form with the return of Jason Roy.
LAST FIVE: AFG (W), SL (L), AUS (L), IND (W), NZ (W).
4. (5) PAKISTAN
Pakistan were unquestionably one of the hottest teams in the back half of the tournament. A slow start, and some might argue the washout in the India v New Zealand match, ultimately proved too much for them too overcome.
LAST FIVE: IND (L), SA (W), NZ (W), AFG (W), BANG (W).

5. (9) SOUTH AFRICA
Another team who might be asking ‘what if’ after their last group game victory over Australia. An early exit for one of the pre-tournament favourites makes them the biggest disappointment of World Cup 2019.
LAST FIVE: AFG (W), NZ (L), PAK (L), SL (W), AUS (W).
6. (4) BANGLADESH
Their upset victory over South Africa gave them a chance, but their inability to beat another competition heavyweight meant they were destined to watch on come the Semi Finals.
LAST FIVE: WI (W), AUS (L), AFG (W), IND (L), PAK (L).
7. (3) NEW ZEALAND
As one of the four semi finalists this position might seem harsh to some readers but, given only Afghanistan finished the tournament with a worse losing streak, it might actually be a little kind.
LAST FIVE: SA (W), WI (W), PAK (L), AUS (L), ENG (L).
8. (7) SRI LANKA
Given their form coming into the tournament, that their destiny was in their own hands with three games to play was a big surprise. That they would lose only two of them was almost equally amazing.
LAST FIVE: AUS (L), ENG (W), SA (L), WI (W), IND (L).
9. (8) WEST INDIES
Flattered to deceive with an early domination of Pakistan and close tussle with Australia but have been, in fact, a long way off the pace.
LAST FIVE: BANG (L), NZ (L), IND (L), SL (L), AFG (W).
10. (10) AFGHANISTAN
Remain winless in the 2019 World Cup but did go agonisingly close to completing the upset of the tournament against India.
LAST FIVE: ENG (L), IND (L), BANG (L), PAK (L), WI (L).
