Liked: Dom Sheed racking up possessions for fun.
Disliked: The Eagles, the defending premiers have not proved strong against good teams in 2019. Are they flat track bullies?
Geelong v Collingwood
Learned: The Cats are pretenders. Strong doubt exists over the ability to avoid a straight sets exit.
Liked: Some of the banter from Collingwood about their ‘home final’.
Disliked: This was a scrappy affair that failed to live up to pre-game expecations.
GWS vs Bulldogs
Learned: Could GWS be a smoky this year?
Liked: Finally GWS brought the rough stuff and it worked.
Disliked: At times GWS took it a little too far.
Brisbane vs Richmond
Learned: Dusty is near impossible to stop, Hodge did a good job but he still kicked six.
Liked: The Tigers were scary good. Didn’t get much out of their twin towers and still kicked 18 goals.
Disliked: Lions early jitters. Were all over the Tigers and should have been up by six goals at quarter time, instead they are facing the possibility of a straight sets exit.
